Euro Tour 2025: Lübeck, Germany

It was a radiant summer day in Lübeck. The sky was painted in soft blue hues, and golden sunlight bathed the historic city in warmth. Locals and tourists alike strolled through the old town, enjoying the pleasant weather in street cafés and along the riverside. It was the perfect backdrop for a visit unlike any other—a spiritual presence had come to grace the city.

Sant Khem Singh, the revered Shabd Master and living Sant Satguru (saint and true spiritl guide) of the Sant Mat tradition, had arrived in Lübeck. A small group of devoted Satsangis (followers from the meditation group) awaited him at the iconic Holstentor, the city’s majestic gate and a symbol of Lübeck. With great humility and a radiant smile, Sant Khem Singh greeted everyone. His peaceful presence immediately touched the hearts of those around him.

As they walked through the city, the Master—serene and observant—used each moment as an opportunity to bless those he encountered. People sitting in cafés or leaning from windows seemed inexplicably drawn to him—many turned their heads without knowing why, as if magnetized by an unseen force. Curious glances and gentle smiles were exchanged. Some passers-by simply paused, touched by the subtle but powerful peace that surrounded the Master.

Eventually, the tour came to a peaceful close, and the group made their way to the home of an initiate, nestled in a calm, green neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city.

There, the family waited with open arms and hearts full of joy. The children had decorated the pathway with colorful chalk drawings—flowers, hearts, suns, and smiling faces. When the Master arrived, their eyes lit up with excitement. Shyly but proudly, they presented their artwork, and the Master greeted each of them warmly, his smile filled with love and affection.

In the quiet of that home, something profound unfolded. Sant Khem Singh Ji offered Naam Daan, the sacred initiation into the inner Light and Sound, to the wife of the initiate and their three children—a ten-year-old boy and two girls aged six and three. Though young in years, the children sat quietly, as if intuitively sensing the depth of the moment. During the meditation that followed, each of them had powerful spiritual experiences of inner light and sound, affirming the living reality of the Shabd within their hearts.

The atmosphere was filled with reverence and gratitude. A warm vegetarian meal, lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients, was shared and enjoyed by all. After a short rest, the Master and his companions sat in the garden. Surrounded by blooming flowers, birdsong, and the soft rustling of leaves, they immersed themselves in the silence of nature and each other’s presence.

Before leaving, the Master took a quiet walk through the garden, pausing by each tree and flower, blessing the land and the home. He blessed each living being, filling the space with a presence that would linger long after his departure.

As the Master returned to the car, the family stood in silent awe. The children waved with joy and a touch of longing. Though his visit was brief, Sant Khem Singh had left an indelible mark—not only on their home, but on the very soul of Lübeck itself.

That evening, a spacious hall on the fourth floor of an ancient building in Lübeck’s Stadtinsel (inner island) was filled with quiet anticipation. Dozens of people had gathered, hearts open and expectant. The last light of day faded over the rooftops as Sant Khem Singh arrived. The moment he entered, a deep stillness settled over the room. Many felt the power of his presence before he had even spoken a word.

The Satsang (association with the truth) unfolded in an atmosphere of calm and reverence. Masters words, filled with wisdom, truth, and love, deeply touched everyone present. He spoke of the eternal reality of the inner Sound and Light, of the forgotten connection between soul and Source, and of the beauty of living a life aligned with divine truth.

As the Satsang drew to a close, the sacred moment intensified. Over 20 people received the holy initiation, their hearts ready to begin the journey within. During the meditation, all of them experienced the light and heard the subtle sound—the inner call of the soul. A silent awe filled the room. Something rare and transformative had taken place.

Around 11 p.m., Sant Khem Singh lovingly bid farewell to each person, his eyes radiating compassion and grace. The hall glowed with a quiet, invisible presence. With bowed heads and gentle smiles, those gathered watched the Master and his companions depart.

That night, the entire city of Lübeck seemed to float in a subtle, inexplicable atmosphere of spiritual elevation. For those who had met him—and even for those who had only seen him in passing—something within had quietly and forever changed.
