A spiritually ethical life combines ethical actions with a deeper inner alignment—a conscious way of living that arises from a sense of connection to life and the divine. It’s not just about acting “good,” but also about living mindfully, compassionately, and in harmony with a higher truth or inner wisdom.
"La verdad es más elevada que todo, pero aún más elevada aún es la vida verdadera".
Gurú Nanak
Spirituality as Lived Ethics: Living a spiritually ethical life doesn’t mean being “perfect.” Instead, it involves approaching oneself and the world attentively and lovingly. It is a quiet, profound path—not out of obligation, but from inner understanding and joy in connectedness.

Freedom Instead of Karma
The law of karma is an invitation to live consciously, mindfully, and compassionately, trusting that everything we do will ultimately come back to us—for good or ill. Whether understood religiously or symbolically, it remains a powerful ethical orientation.
Every action has consequences—not only externally but also mentally and spiritually.

Why is the law of karma important for ethical living?
- It reminds us that every action matters.
- It promotes responsibility and mindfulness in thinking, speaking, and acting.
- It can help cultivate patience and forgiveness—trusting that justice operates on a deeper level.
What does Karma mean?
The word “Karma” originates from Sanskrit and literally means “action,” “deed,” or “effect.” In a spiritual sense, it refers to the idea that every action—whether good or bad—creates a corresponding effect.
There are three types of karma:
- Storage karma – This is a large reservoir of good and bad karmas waiting for resolution.
- Fate karma – Compiled before our birth, Fate Karma is assigned to our current life. It determines when we suffer, when we rejoice, or where we end up.
- Seed karma – This accompanies us throughout our lives. We act according to our free will, continuously sowing good or bad seeds, whose fruits we must enjoy or endure.
After initiation, karma is regulated by the Master Power. The effects of Fate Karma are alleviated, and new Seed Karmas must also be reconciled. The Master is responsible for ensuring that all karmas are settled by the end of our life. All must be resolved or repaid; nothing can remain. Then, the soul is free and can be brought to God.
“When one of the disciples of Jesus used the sword, then the Master told: No, this is not the way. If you use the sword, then it will also be used on you. He was explaining how things work under the law, “As you sow, so shall you reap.” The Master taught them: You will also be hurt in the same way. Don’t use the sword. Only work with love, only with love. If you succeed, fine. If you do not succeed, it doesn’t matter, but work only with love…
You see, I am not only to care for you but I am to care for everyone in the world…This sense of oneness is the purpose of life. That is why the Masters look at the whole world.
Debemos utilizar este breve lapso de vida de la manera correcta, porque el propósito de la vida humana es realizarnos como alma y encontrar a Dios."

Meditation and the Vegetarian Diet
The connection between vegetarianism and spirituality is deeply rooted in many cultures, religions, and spiritual practices. This link is based not solely on ethical or health considerations but also on the idea that how we eat influences our mental state. A mindful, plant-based diet creates optimal conditions for meditative depth—and meditation, in turn, promotes a thoughtful and compassionate approach to eating.
“A healthy mind in a healthy body”—what we eat builds both body and spirit.come very attractive. If we do not use them, they will fall to the ground.
With unhealthy eating, we can have neither. A strictly vegetarian diet, consisting of vegetables and fruits, fresh or dried, grains, dairy products such as milk, cream, butter, cheese, yogurt, etc., is essential for all truth-seekers. Therefore, we must avoid meat, meat broth, fish, poultry, eggs (fertilized or unfertilized), or foods containing any of these ingredients in any form or even in the smallest amount.

Practical Benefits for Meditators
- Better digestion: Leads to less restlessness or fatigue while sitting.
- Stable circulation & energy levels: Helpful during long meditation retreats.
- Emotional balance: Supported by anti-inflammatory and hormone-friendly nutrition.
Seva is Lived Spirituality
Seva (from Sanskrit: सेवा) means “selfless service” – actions performed without expectation of reward or recognition, solely for the benefit of others.
Not the action itself matters most, but the inner attitude:
“I do this not for myself – but as an expression of love.” / “Serving beyond the self” – this should be our guiding principle in life.
What is Seva Exactly?
- “Serving” with an open heart, without ego, greed, or calculation.
- Helping out of compassion and devotion, not to get something in return.
Goals of Seva
- Letting go of one’s ego – serving others becomes an exercise in humility.
- Experiencing unity with the Divine – by seeing the Divine in all living beings.
- Reducing karma – through actions without attachment to results.
- Opening the heart – through compassion, love, and sincerity in action.
Effect of Seva
- Lightens the heart and clears the mind.
- Fosters humility, compassion, and devotion.
- Connects people on a deeper level.
Mindfulness Towards Body and Mind
Out of mindfulness towards body and mind, we refrain from alcohol, smoking, mind-altering substances, as well as spiritual practices outside our path, such as foreign meditation techniques, spiritual healing, or tarot.
