May 5-15, 2025: Sant Khem Singh visited Europe again this year. The retreat portion of his tour was 10 days, spent at Rathgebhof in Bavarian farm country, as last year.
The Master-Saint was very generous with his time. There were morning and evening programs with him daily, which included spiritual discourses, songs and meditation – with personalized help for everyone. Throughout the retreat Sant Khem Singh also made time to privately meet every attendee to hear and share in their concerns, answer their questions, or help guide them through obstacles on the spiritual path.
Many old faces returned again for more time with the Master this year; and many new faces appeared too, and took Naam (learned the meditation on inner light and sound). Their experiences were profound and everyone’s spirits were blessed and recharged.
On the last day there was a garden party with tea and pakoras. The Master was moved. He had to say goodbye to his beloved students. We also had some tears in our eyes. It was a blessed time under the Bavarian skies.

Here, below, is the personal experience of one attendee, depicting how deeply moving it is to be in the presence of a True Master-Saint:
For me, the Master’s journey was once again a unique adventure and a wonderful time – even though this was already the third time I had the pleasure of enjoying Khem Singh’s soothing presence: last year was my first time at the same retreat location. There are so many indescribable moments of bliss that I will always carry with me.
I especially remember his visits to the north, my home region, with many new interested people, in a small, cozy gathering in Munich at the neighborhood meeting place, as well as my private conversation with him and my birthday, which I was able to spend at the retreat. On that day, the Master personally wished me a happy birthday, took me on a short private walk in the area, and posed for a birthday photo: I felt infinitely blessed, and the birthday song sung by his secretary and the satsang afterwards made the day very special.
But it wasn’t just this day; every moment at the retreat in the presence of the Master was indescribable for me: at all times, I felt completely accepted, loved, and carefree. His gaze once again touched my heart, and his charisma was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I would participate in a retreat with Khem Singh again anytime, because I feel the power he gives me every day. So once again, it was difficult to say goodbye, but in the end, he took a lot of time for the last few people remaining on the grounds, and fortunately, I was one of them. When I told him I would miss him, his reply, “No, no, I’m always here with you,” cheered me up again. Thank you for your boundless love and infinite blessings, Master Khem. Participating in the lectures and the retreat was a pure joy for me.
Oh, and another special moment just came to mind:
On the first day of the retreat, when the sun was really shining, I wanted to sit down near the tent to meditate. Just before I started, however, I suddenly heard some loud voices nearby and looked up curiously. At that moment, I saw the Master, bathed in sunlight and surrounded by some satsangis, walking in my direction. When they saw me, they immediately said, “Come with us, the Master wants to go for a walk with us!” Of course, I didn’t need to be told twice. I jumped up and quickly called my mother, who had just gone into the tent. She also came running quickly, and soon we were walking briskly down the retreat grounds behind the Master, together with a few others who were also nearby at the time. It was simply wonderful: a light-filled walk full of cheerfulness.
Everyone seemed very happy to be exercising and exploring nature together with the Master. He did not walk like an older man, but at a pace as if he were in his mid-20s, completely fit and agile – and he also seemed to enjoy our company very much. Along the way, some people from the village looked at him curiously and were then given a brief introduction to the teachings of Shabd Yoga and blessed by him. On the way back, one person even sang a little song and some recordings were made. All in all, it was wonderful to be able to accompany the Master in an everyday activity and to witness how he had no less of an impact on us and our surroundings outside of the scheduled talks: moments of lightness that highlighted his loving nature and unique power even more strongly.
